A Typical Day of Camp

Our camp's target age is girls aged 5 to 12 years old. 3-4 groups will be created among the campers, based on age groups and skill level, and will receive attention from rotating staff members at different stations, from 9 AM to 3:30 PM (including optional after care at an extra fee). The groups will participate in a rotation, including stretchingmotions, jumps, cheers and chants, dancing, basic stunting, and entry level tumbling (for older campers). Campers will also be participating in activities such as arts and crafts, group games, and free time.

Lunch and Snack

We have two lunch options for campers:

    1. Bring a bag lunch (recommended for campers with food allergies or other dietary restrictions)

    2. Pay a lunch fee for catered lunches = $40

Monday: Subway turkey or ham and cheese subs

    Tuesday: Cheese Quesadillas

    Wednesday: Chickfila chicken nuggets

    Thursday: Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

    Friday: Cheese/Pepperoni Pizza

*If campers fail to pack a lunch during one or multiple days during the week, we will provide catered lunch for them. However, parents   will be charged a $15 fee for each day their camper forgets.

We have two similar snack options:

    1. Campers may bring a snack (eaten in the morning)

    2. Campers may bring money to purchase a snack (suggested price: $2 per day)

    3. Parents have asked in past years to have snack included in the lunch. This year, the lunch fee is slightly raised to allow campers that have bought the catered lunch to have snack included in the fee.

*WE ASK THAT YOU MAKE US AWARE OF ALL ALLERGIES (FOOD OR NOT), DIETARY RESTRICTIONS, INJURIES, ETC. PRIOR TO ARRIVAL AT CAMP.

*NO PEANUTS PLEASE

Performance

On the last day of camp, Friday, we invite family and friends to come for a performance day for the girls to show off what they have accomplished in the duration of a week at camp. We believe giving campers an incentive for the week, a performance, will teach responsibility and time management. We hope to encourage these values through a combination of hard work and lots of fun!

Performance Time: 3:00 PM on Friday

After camp there will be a reception for parents and campers.

FAQs

Is there an extended day program?

We do offer after care. Please check the "After Care" section above for more information.

How much is a week of camp?

One week of camp costs $235. Extra fees are included for lunch and aftercare.

What is the ratio of counselors to campers?

The total ratio is 6 campers to every counselor.

Does my child need to pack a lunch?

Campers can either bring their lunch to camp or have a catered lunch for a paid fee. Take a look at "Camp Dates and Details --> Lunch and Snack" for details.

How should my child dress for camp?

Campers should wear t-shirts and athletic shorts. Additionally, we expect closed toed shoes to be worn every day. Cheer shoes are preferable, but not required. NO JEWELRY. We will require campers to remove any jewelry they choose to wear to camp. We expect campers who have recently had their ears pierced to cover their earrings with band aids for safety reasons.

Please do not let campers wear expensive or valuable clothes or jewelry. We will be participating not only in athletic activities, but also arts and crafts, which have the possibility of ruining clothing.

What should my child bring to camp?

Checklist for each day of camp:

-comfortable clothes

-closed toed athletic shoes

-snack (or $2 to buy a snack)

-lunch (if not buying)

-WATER BOTTLE

How difficult are the cheer routines?

We will have at least three separate groups for older and younger campers, with entry level cheerleading routines for each. We plan to gauge the difficulty of the routines based on the skill level of each group, which we will observe during the first few days of camp.

What happens if my child misses a day of camp?

We charge a flat rate for the whole week. If your child is absent, the rate will be the same. Cancellations are only permitted within the window of registration. After the window closes, cancellations will receive no refund.
